The AREVA Writers’ Room started as a 9-month writing programme in 2024 for organisations wanting to evaluate the institutional language they use and to create new vocabularies of equity and care. Using creative writing and textual analysis approaches, the participants experimented with different formats, voices, styles and words to enable their organisations to communicate more clearly, directly and empathetically. More importantly, the group learned to use language that aligned more closely, and more at ease, with their organisational values.
